Dr. Iain Blair

Technical Director

Iain has a PhD in engineering from Strathclyde University. He has over 30 years’ experience in international oil and gas as an engineer, petroleum economist, business developer and leader. Over the years he has been involved in a number of world-scale projects like the Brent oil field, Sakhalin LNG and carbon capture. He also has extensive experience working with NOC and Government stakeholders in complex and challenging environments. 

In recent years Iain has developed Tempos Ltd, a successful Upstream Oil and Gas Consultancy, been technical lead for a start-up modular refinery business and founded an upstream asset holding company. 

He feels that LH2 Europe is an opportunity to help preserve the pristine beauty of the Scottish landscape and wildlife where he lives.
